The NOSPIN Group is a multimedia publishing corporation and non-profit foundation.  The primary function of The NOSPIN Group is to provide PC related educational materials via the Internet, including our award winning mailing lists: PCBUILD and PCSOFT.

WHAT DOES NOSPIN MEAN?
This is probably the most often asked question we receive.    Simply stated, NOSPIN means "No Lies."   Politicos today have learned to modify our language, Orwell called this "New Speak,"  but, in our society it is referred to as Politically Correct.   The term 'Spin' as in the phrase, "Spin Doctor," is the politically correct version of the word "propaganda."   Spin is the New Speak term for 'Lie.'

Although many now wish to co-opt and abuse our copyright and trademark to the name NOSPIN, such as FOX News / The Oreilly Factor, it is just that...  blatant co-opting of our name, NOSPIN. 

The NOSPIN Group is devoted to bringing you the truth, lacking any bias, prejudice or preconceived ideas concerning the computer industry.  We have no corner on "the truth," but, we hope you find truthful and helpful information from our organization.

We will from time to time express our opinions about components, manufacturers and vendors.  But, we will always attempt to remain within our name: No Spin.
