1. Check your network connection

2. Clear browser cache

In this, you will need to clear your browser cache. Cached files help to save website data. That’s why when you visit a website often; it normally opens fast because of the saved data. Some information from the websites is saved as cache. Clearing them helps to resolve the issue.

This is how you can clear your browser cache on Chrome.

Step 1: Open your Google Chrome Browser.

Step 2: In the top right corner, click on more click on more.

Step 3: On the drop-down menu bar, click on “more tools” then “clear browsing data.” Alternatively, you can click Ctrl + Shift + Delete.

Step 4: Choose a time range that you want the data to be deleted. You can choose last hour, last 24hours, last 7 days, last 4 weeks, or all time.

3. Disable plugins in Chrome

Another way to solve the error is by disabling the plugins and extensions.

Step 1: Click the menu icon in the top right corner of your Chrome browser.

Step 2: On the drop-down menu bar, click “more tools” and choose “extensions.”

Step 4: Disable any of the extensions that you think aren't useful at the moment. Just toggle off under each extension. If you don’t need it anymore, remove it.

4. Use incognito mode on Chrome

Suppose your browser is giving you that error. You may as well use the incognito mode.

Step 1: Click on the menu icon that features 3 vertical dots in the top right corner.

Step 2: Select “new incognito window.” Alternatively, press the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + N.

Step 3: Your browser will now be on incognito mode. Try searching for the specific web address.

5. Reset network settings

Another way to solve the issue is to reset the network settings. On this, enter the Run command.

Step 1: Click the Windows + R button to open the run command prompt.

Step 2: Type in CMD on the search area and select OK.

Step 3: Input these commands, respectively. First, start with ipconfig/release, then press Enter.

Step 6: After you are done, input Netsh Winsock reset. Press enter. For this to work well, you must run as an administrator.

That’s it. You have successfully reset your network connection.


6. Try another browser

8. Change host

In this, you will need to change the computer host.

Step 1: First, navigate to this address in your Windows File Explorer.

Step 3: Save your changes and restart the computer.
